Choral Christmas Concert Schedule 2009

To all Parents and Guardians of NMS Choral Students:
Our Christmas Performances are soon upon us. They are Wednesday, December 2 at NMS and Friday, December 4 at the Legislature. Members are to arrive no later than 6:30pm with curtain times of 7pm for both performances.
NMS Christmas Concert –
Show Choir members are to wear their groovy 70’s costume that they have created to the NMS Christmas Concert. (After Christmas break we will be calling in the dresses for storage here at the school. The new dresses should be arriving from the seamstress at this time.)
Concert Choir members are to wear black bottoms, skirts for the girls and black pants for the boys. Tops are to be white. We have ties here at the school for the boys to wear. All members are to wear black or dark shoes. Boys, please do not wear sneakers or white socks. Girls, regular hose is fine.
Legislature Concert –
For the concert at the Legislature on Friday evening members should dress warm as all performances will be outside. We have been asked to gather in the alleyway beside the Legislature at 6:30pm. At 6:45pm we will be escorted into the Legislature by the side door in that alleyway. There we wait for our turn to perform on the Legislature steps. After the singing and speeches the Provincial Christmas Tree is lit and we will then follow Santa Claus up Queen Street to City Hall for hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and treats. You may walk with your child to City Hall. Choir members may be dismissed from City Hall. Please ensure you let Mrs. Ross know when you are taking your child.
